In the south of the island of Tenerife is the municipality of Adeje, an ideal place for all kinds of excursions and outdoor activities. The main route of the Barranco del Infierno starts 350 m above the coast of Adeje, in a place that constitutes a natural balcony, where we will obtain magnificent views over the landscape of the south of Tenerife.
The Barranco del Infierno, which takes its name from its abrupt nature, is a Protected Natural Area. Remember that access is restricted, so don’t forget to make your reservation a few days before your excursion.

Entry to the Barranco del Infierno costs €15 per non-resident adult and €5 for residents of the Canary Islands, and advance online booking is compulsory. A round trip through the Barranco del Infierno takes around 3 hours, covering a distance of 6.5 km with an elevation gain of around 250 metres; the route is rated as low to medium difficulty.

Skvělá procházka údolím k vodopádu, vstup je sice vyšší ale určitě to stojí za návštěvu. Doporučuju přijet brzy ráno, aspoň se vyhnete hledání parkování. Nice hike on a cloudy day, paths were clear and moderate effort. Easily did it without the walking poles but recommend them for someone new to hiking. Zeer mooie wandeling (zowel om de geografie, flora als de fauna) en begrijpelijk waarom de toegang gereguleerd wordt; het is zelfs met reservering systeem een populaire hike en best wel druk. Ik hou zelf van de rust van de natuur, op dit pad is er wel soms flink wat geluid van de mensen. Si te gusta caminar rodeada de montaña no lo dudes ,lo único que tienes que ir temprano por que tiene un horario, que si vas tarde no te da tiempo hacer la ruta completa . Lo único que tienes que estar un poco en forma por que tiene muchas subidas y bajadas y también muchas escaleras
